Six Month Stats

Well, Daphne turned six months old about a week and a half ago. Crazy to think that she's been here for half a year already! Time really does fly! We had her six-month check up at the doctor's and she's doing fantastically well! She now weighs 15 lbs. which puts her in the 50th percentile. Amazing when you remember that two months ago she wasn't even on the charts with her weight. She loves her solid foods! It's so fun to feed them to her. She's also still in the 50th percentile for her height and head circumference, so she is just very nicely proportioned.

Peas are not her favorite food....

She is so much fun! Lately she has been watching the tv show 24 with me. Her favorite part is the credits at the end. As soon as she hears the music, she'll turn her head so she can see the tv and just grins and watches the credits. I don't really get why, but it is adorable! She has very strong legs and is constantly moving them. She's either jumping up and down or doing a little dance. It's fun to watch, but hard to hold on to her. She has started sleeping longer at night, which Andrew and I love! She's been sleeping about 13 hours at night, waking up only twice during that time. We feed her, and then she goes right back to sleep usually though, so it's not too bad. She doesn't love to take naps. She takes two naps a day, usually about 45 minutes each, sometimes shorter. She's growing up so fast and we just can't get enough of her!

Valentine's Day

Andrew and I had a great Valentine's Day this year! Friday night, the 12th, I had gone to a shower for my cousin's fiancee, and when I got home, this is what I found....

Gorgeous, aren't they!?!

He put these little sticky hearts all over the mirror in our room, on my side of the headboard, and all
over the bathroom mirror too. Isn't he so cute?

Yummy chocolates and the little pillow and blanket were waiting for me as well! The hat he picked up for himself while he was at the store. :)

I sure love this crazy Valentine of mine! Happy Valentine's Day honey!
