Gardner Village

Every year in October, Gardner Village has their Witchapalooza. They put a bunch of witches everywhere around the shopping center. We thought Daphne would enjoy seeing that this year, so we went up with my parents and sister, Kristen, and walked all around. My uncle owns the bakery there too, so we stopped in there and got some of their yummy bread! It was a great way to get in the mood for Halloween, and Daphne loved going around finding all the witches. I think this has to be something we do every year with her now!

Karen's Wedding

One of my best friends, Karen Springer, got married September 17th. Andrew and I were lucky enough to be able to attend her wedding up the canyon at Conrad Ranch. It was beautiful! Congrats Karen and Nate!

Daphne's Second Birthday

Now that Daphne is almost two and a half, I think it's time to finally post about her birthday party from last August. :) We had a great time eating dinner and cake and ice cream at my parent's house. We had planned on having it all in the backyard, but of course it started raining that day. By the time we had all finished dinner though, the rain had stopped so we were able to open presents and have cake and ice cream outside. We had lots of family come to help us celebrate. Daphne was spoiled rotten with so many presents. Thank you to everyone for coming and for everything you gave Daphne. She is so lucky to have such a great family that loves her so much!
We let her open one present when she got up in the morning so she could wear it that day. She loves Elmo! So she was really excited about this shirt.
My big 2-year old!
This is the cake I made for Daphne. First time making a shaped cake. Thanks Robyn for helping me so much with it!

She knew just what to do with the candle. Blew it right out!

She got lots of great presents. She is so fun, she absolutely loved every single one of them!

Due in about 8 weeks with our second little girl!
