Each month seems to pass more quickly than the last! Daphne is ten months old now. She can crawl--it's taken her awhile to get down the real crawling motion. But she still doesn't love to crawl. My favorite is when she was crying as she was begrudgingly crawling last week at my parent's house. It was as if she was asking why we were making her do this horrible thing. She can pull herself up to a standing position using the couch. She hasn't really said any words yet that I'm sure she knows what she's saying. Andrew asked her the other day if she loved mommy, and she said "yeah! yeah." :) I would love to think she knew what she was saying, but I don't think she did. We keep trying to teach her to say "mama" and "dada". So far she's much better at saying "dada", but I'm hoping she'll be able to say "mama" sometime too. :) She now has three teeth! Two on the bottom, and one on the top just poked through last week. Very sharp teeth Andrew and I have both discovered as we've tried to feel them and she bites down on our fingers. She's such a happy girl. She loves to laugh, she loves meeting new people, and she is getting more beautiful every day! She just has us wrapped right around her cute little fingers! We love her so much and are so grateful to have her as part of our family!

Since it was so rainy this year during Summerfest, we ended up skipping all of it except the fireworks. Kristen and Tamara with her family came over to Grandma Hill's house and we all watched the fireworks together. Tamara's kids all had fun watching the fireworks from Kristen's trunk along with Kristen, and I just had to share these cute pictures of them all.

I decided it was about time to get my haircut, so I called my good friend, Sue, and she chopped it all off for me! It's been a long time since I've had short hair, and I don't think I've ever had it quite this short before, but I'm liking it. It's nice and cool!!

We had a very busy Memorial Day this year! We started out the day by visiting my grandpa's grave in the Orem Cemetery. We gather with as many in my family who can make it, and we always sing a few songs and take some pictures. It's nice getting together there to remember him. After that we headed over to Big Lots to get some things they had a good sale on. We ended up getting a camcorder there, so we don't have any pictures from the day, just a few videos. After that we had a bbq with Andrew's family and played on the playground with Daphne a little bit. She did not actually enjoy that. We got to go home and take a nap after that, and ended the day with another bbq at my sister, Rosie's house. Just a few videos we made while playing around with our new camcorder that day. Happy Memorial Day everyone! I hope you had a nice one!
