Now that Daphne is almost two and a half, I think it's time to finally post about her birthday party from last August. :) We had a great time eating dinner and cake and ice cream at my parent's house. We had planned on having it all in the backyard, but of course it started raining that day. By the time we had all finished dinner though, the rain had stopped so we were able to open presents and have cake and ice cream outside. We had lots of family come to help us celebrate. Daphne was spoiled rotten with so many presents. Thank you to everyone for coming and for everything you gave Daphne. She is so lucky to have such a great family that loves her so much!
We let her open one present when she got up in the morning so she could wear it that day. She loves Elmo! So she was really excited about this shirt.
My big 2-year old!
This is the cake I made for Daphne. First time making a shaped cake. Thanks Robyn for helping me so much with it!
She knew just what to do with the candle. Blew it right out!
She got lots of great presents. She is so fun, she absolutely loved every single one of them!
Due in about 8 weeks with our second little girl!

Wow--I am so behind on your blog!!! Happy Easter and Happy Birthday, Daphne (SUCH a cute cake, by the way), and congrats on Baby Girl #2!!! She is so beautiful. It has been such a blessing for our family to have two little girls so close together, and I hope (and am sure) you guys feel the same! Hope everything is going well for your sweet family.
